The Online Gun Purchase Process – Step by Step
✅ Step 1: Shop
Browse our online gun store and add the firearm(s) or accessories you want to your cart. When ready, proceed to checkout.
✅ Step 2: Choose Shipping or Pickup
- In-Store Pickup (Lansing, MI):
Select this option if you plan to pick up your firearm locally.
- Ship to FFL Dealer:
Choose this option to have your firearm shipped to a licensed dealer near you. You’ll enter their information at checkout.
(We must have a copy of their current FFL license before we ship.)
We accept most major credit and debit cards.
✅ Step 3: Complete the Transfer
🔒 Local Pickup in Michigan:
- We will notify you when your firearm is ready.
- New Michigan Law (Effective 2/13/24):
If purchasing a pistol and you do not have a Michigan CPL, you must first obtain a License to Purchase from your local police department before pickup. - Final steps: Come to our shop, fill out transfer paperwork, pass the NICS background check, and take your firearm home.
📦 Ship to Your FFL Dealer:
- After receiving the dealer’s FFL, we’ll ship your order.
- Your dealer will notify you when it arrives.
- Go to their location to complete the transfer—just like you bought the gun there.
🔒 We only ship to the 50 U.S. states. Firearms must be legal to own in your state.
Important Shipping & Transfer Info
How to Choose a Licensed FFL Dealer:
- Use our FFL Dealer Locator or ask around locally.
- Contact the dealer to confirm they accept transfers and ask about their FFL transfer fee.
- Arrange the transfer directly with them.
- Provide your dealer’s info and remind them:
- Shipments come from Red Circle Tactical
- We automatically include our FFL license in the box
Pro Tip: Always include your name and order number in any communication between your FFL dealer and RCT.
Before You Accept the Firearm: Inspect It
IMPORTANT:
Please inspect your firearm upon delivery.
If it’s not the correct model or has any issues,
DO NOT complete the transfer.
Instead, ask your dealer to pause the process and
contact us immediately.
Once the firearm is transferred to you, it’s considered used and
cannot be returned or exchanged.
